Renders of Sonys Xperia XZ Premium and three other 2017 Xperia X phones leaked


Renders of Sonys upcoming smartphones, which is most likely to be presented at MWC 2017, Barcelona has hit the interwebs. These include the top-end flagship Xperia XZ Premium and three unnamed mid-rangers.

First up, the Xperia XZ Premium, as seen in the renders, the phone has a Chrome mirror finish similar t o the Xperia Z5 Premium. According to the source, it will feature 4K HDR display with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, Snapdragon 835, 20MP main camera with 1.22um, and supports for slow-motion videos at 960fps, thanks to the latest Sony sensor with embedded memory.

The main camera is also rumored to have Motion Eye (predictive capture), super low light performance and anti-distortion feature. The fingerprint sensor of Xperia XZ Premium will be hidden inside the power button.

Next are the mid-rangers and the marketing names of these phones are not known. All these will have the same design, but different screen sizes and spec sheet.


Sony Xperia XA 2017

One of them (White) appears to be the Sony Xperia XA successor, as it is in line with the leaked Xperia XA 2017 hands-on video last month, and could be the Sony G3112, G3121 or G3221. Previous leaks suggest that the phone will have 5-inch HD display, MediaTek Helio P20 processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage and 23MP/8MP cameras. Theres also a render of an Xperia X series device (Gold) with front facing flash.

Theres another device (Blue) which could be a premium mid-ranger, and will sport Sonys new IMX400 sensor. As per earlier rumors the phone is codenamed BlancBright and is rumored to come with 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 653 processor and 4GB RAM.

Unfortunately other details are scarce, but these phone are expected to be unveiled at Sonys MWC 2017 conference on February 27, and we will get to know all the details soon.
