LeEco has been struggling as of late, but that is not stopping the Chinese smartphone maker from launching new devices. The company has announced a new edition of Le Pro 3 dubbed Le Pro 3 Elite.
Although the phone has the "Elite" moniker, it does not get any upgrades. Instead the Snapdragon 821 chip utilized by Le Pro 3 has been swapped for a Snapdragon 820 chip on the new Elite model, and also ditches NFC support. More over it comes in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. Except these, the rest of the specs sheet remain unchanged.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite sports premium metal unibody design and 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display. It gets 16MP Sony IMX298 f/2.0 rear camera with PDAF, and 8MP front camera. It still runs Android Marshmallow based eUI 5.8 and does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack, instead it is exquipped with USB Type-C based CDLA standard for audio output via headphones.
Other features include fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac and fast charging. A 4070mAh battery powers the phone. The phone also come with exclusive 3 months membership access to LeEcoĆ¢s video streaming service.
The new Le Pro 3 Elite is priced at CNY 1699 ($245 | Rs. 16,000) and is already available for purchase in China online via Jingdong, LeEco Mall, Lynx.
