Xiaomi Mi 5c Is The First Surge S1 Processor Powered Phone!

Xiaomi has announced the Mi 5c earlier, the companys latest handset with a twist. It is the very first phone to run with the companys first home-brewed chipset, the Surge S1.

Going to whats inside, the is packed with a 5.15 inch QHD IPS screen w/ a very sharp 2560 x 1600 resolution at 586 pixels per inch. The Surge S1 consist of a 2.2 GHz 64 bit octa core chip built under 28nm process and paired with Mali T860 graphics unit. 

It has 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB non-expandable storage, and 2,860 mAh of non-removable battery w/ fast charging support. The phone is also equipped with a 12 MP main camera w/ f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. In front, an 8 MP f/2.2 shooter is capable of 1080p video recording.

Then the device has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, FM Radio, and fingerprint scanner behind. It measures at 
144.4 x 69.7 x 7.1 mm and weighs at 132 g. It loads with Android 7.1 Nougat OS w/ MIUI 8.
