After unveiling the 10.1-inch 101 Saphir rugged 2-in-1 tablet, France based Archos has unveiled two new budget smartphones called 50 Graphite and 55 Graphite.
They are the companys first smartphone to boast dual-rear cameras, which is also the highlight, given the budget price tag. The 50 Graphite and 55 Gra phite are equipped with dual 13MP+2MP cameras. Thanks to the ultra-wide angle the dual-cameras can capture sharper image with more details. It can also capture shallow depth of field "Bokeh" shots. The camera on the front side is a 5MP unit.
The Archos 55 Graphite features 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It is fueled by 3000mAh battery.
The Archos 50 Graphite on the other hand is a lighter version of 55 Graphite and comes with 5-inch HD IPS 2.5 curved glass display, MediaTek MT6737 chip, 1GB RAM, and 16GB storage, which can expanded via microSD card. It packs 2400mAh battery.
Both phones run Android Nougat and include 4G LTE support, dual-SIM slots, USB Type-C port and fingerprint scanner.
The Archos 50 Graphite and 55 Graphite will be available in June 2017, at a starting price of 130 Euros ($140 | Rs. 9,200). The phone will also be showcased at MWC.
