Apple Overtakes Xiaomi in India
According to city level smartphone monthly monitoring of IDC, the top 30 cities of India constitute approxima tely 51% of the total smartphone market in Q4 2015. The data says that New Delhi has generated peak demand, which was followed closely by Mumbai.
IDC explained that the top 5 cities in India constitute about 60 percent of smartphone sales in India online. 4G phones account for about 45 percent of the market in these cities.
